BISTÅ: Behavioral Intervention, Support, Treatment, and Assessment.
Assessment
Initial and ongoing assessments are conducted to identify skill deficits and track the individual progress of each client.
ABA Treatment
ABA treatment packages are individually designed for each client and include problem behavior reduction, skill acquisition and parent training.
Educational Support
BCBA consultation for schools may include district trainings, behavior intervention planning and implementation support (BIPs), functional behavior assessments (FBA) and functional assessments (FA).
Severe Problem
Behavior Management
Intervention and support for safely managing severe problem behaviors such as self-injury, property destruction and aggression.
Parent Training and
Expectations
Parent training sessions are offered to help support parents and caregivers with behavior intervention plan implementation and skill acquisition goals.
Social Groups
Social Skill Groups are offered to address social deficits with peers and/or working with peer groups. Groups run four times per week at the Mesa clinic location.
Developmental
Program
Clinic-based ABA program specifically targeting school readiness skills such as following directions, center rotations, circle time, basic social and communication skills. Offered Monday – Friday 9:00-3:00pm.

The BISTÅ Center employs highly trained and experienced staff members, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
